Bataleon Party Wave + 157 Snowboard Bräda

The Bataleon Party Wave+ is a deluxe version of the 'regular' Party Wave. Made with a lighter core, stronger laminate and a faster base, the name says it all: a board to have fun with! The Freeride 3BT makes the board suitable for powder and a bit more playful than its competitors. You can ride the Party Wave at 5 to 10 cm shorter than your all-mountain board.

• Freeride 3BT

Freeride 3BT is made for control and versatility. The centre base is made smaller for slightly more sidebase uplift, giving you excellent edge control in return. The freeride shape has earned its spurs in different types of terrain and is now a must-have in the Bataleon collection.

CORE

• Light core

Made of equal parts Swiss Paulownia and poplar wood, for an optimal and balanced core. This core has been in use at Bataleon for a long time and has an excellent power-to-weight ratio.

• Carbon Stringers

Carbon stringers are positioned in the board in different ways. This results in a stiffer board with more pop and responsiveness. Carbon stringers are light and will significantly improve the performance of your board.

• D.S.T SuperTubes

The board has two hollow carbon tubes placed near the core. This ensures a better pop in the board and gives the camber a more snappy feel.

BASE

• Ultra Glide S

Made with as many molecules as possible to produce a sintered base that can absorb hard blows. The base uses the ISO-Sport 7000 series, so there will never be a lack of speed.

TOPSHEET

• Triax Laminate

Triax laminate is made of three layers of fibreglass, which is light, strong and quick to respond. It results in a stiffer board underfoot with more responsiveness.

SIDEWALL

• ABS (recycled) Sidewall

Provides enhanced durability while keeping the core safe from moisture.When a plastic alternative is unavailable, as in the case of ABS sidewalls, Bataleon has chosen for a recycled material to improve the sustainability of their products.
